They are looking for a reliable and experienced Chefs to join their team.
Salary Package: n
$78,000 - $83,000 AUD

Key Responsibilities: n
n
Plan, prepare, cook, and present menu items to a consistently high standard.
n
Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, portion control, and consistency.
n
Prepare and organise ingredients required for daily kitchen operations.
n
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and proper storage of ingredients.
n
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
n
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
n
Coordinate food preparation and service to ensure timely delivery of orders.
n
Assist in training and supervising kitchen staff and allocating kitchen duties.
n
Monitor food costs, minimise wastage, and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
n
Assist with menu development and improvements based on customer preferences and business requirements.
n
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and relevant food regulations.
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen throughout service.
n
Skills and Experience: n
n
Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
n
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
n
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
n
Ability to maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
n
Good knowledge of stock management, food costing, and minimising food wastage.
n
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
n
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a kitchen team.
n
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Experience supervising, training, or coordinating kitchen staff is highly desirable.
n
Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures while exercising sound culinary judgement.
n
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen.
