About the Role & Why It Matters n
As a founding member of Dicey's Risk, Trading, and Operations function, you will act as the
commercial pit boss
of our platform. This is a high-ownership role managing pre-match and live sportsbook exposure. We need a sharp, high-conviction analyst who can instantly distinguish between standard recreational variance and exploitative sharp play. Balancing 360-degree cross-platform oversight across both Casino and Sportsbook, you will protect our bottom line and secure long-term margin sustainability without sacrificing customer experience.
Responsibilities Real-Time Risk & Game Monitoring n

Detect & Mitigate:
Monitor live Sportsbook and Casino activity to swiftly neutralize sharp play, arbitrage, exploits, and bonus abuse.

Player Profiling:
Track player profitability, betting patterns, and withdrawal velocity; manage risk actions like account restrictions or market adjustments.
n
n
Integrity Control:
Analyze casino game outcomes against expected RTP to identify technical anomalies and multi-accounting.

Sportsbook & Trading Support n

n
Exposure Management:
Monitor pre-match and in-play event exposure, liabilities, and market movements.
n

Trading Operations:
Handle platform risk settings, manage feed providers, and execute bet reviews and limit adjustments.
n
Payments, Process & Collaboration n
n
n
Fraud Prevention:
Review high-risk withdrawals and suspicious payment patterns alongside the Fraud/Payments teams.
n
n
Optimization & Reporting:
Build data-driven risk reports and refine automated alerting frameworks and risk rules.
n
n
Cross-Team Alignment:
Work closely with Trading, VIP, Product, and Support, escalating critical incidents directly to the Risk Manager.

What You Bring n
n
n
Experience:
6+ years in a Risk, Trading, or Fraud role within iGaming or Sports Betting.
n
n
Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of trading concepts (odds, liabilities, exposure) and casino mechanics (RTP, volatility).
n
n
Data & Anomaly Detection:
Experience with data tools (Excel, SQL, BI) to rapidly spot sharp action and pricing inefficiencies.
n
n
Live Operations Mindset:
Ability to make fast, commercial decisions in high-volume, 24/7 live environments (including shifts).
n
n
Composure & Communication:
Transparent articulation during escalations and a calm demeanor during high-pressure, peak-volume periods.
