Job Description

Cafeideas is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson to join our warehouse team in Campbelltown. You will work closely with our Warehouse Manager and assist with the day-to-day running of the warehouse, including picking and packing customer orders, receiving stock, unloading containers, organising inventory and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. We supply commercial hospitality equipment and furniture, so the role involves handling a broad range of products including commercial kitchen equipment, chairs, tables, tabletops and other bulky items.
Key responsibilities

Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
n
Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations
n
Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles
n
Unload shipping containers and incoming stock
n
Operate a forklift safely when receiving, moving and dispatching stock
n
Check incoming deliveries against paperwork and report discrepancies or damage
n
Organise and store stock correctly within the warehouse
n
Prepare furniture and commercial equipment for dispatch
n
Assist with palletising and wrapping interstate freight
n
Keep warehouse aisles,



storage areas and workspaces clean, organised and safe
n
About you
n
n
Current Australian forklift licence – essential
n
Previous warehouse, storeperson or logistics experience preferred
n
Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky or heavy products
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a small team
n
Valuable attention to detail when picking and checking orders
n
Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
n
Good understanding of warehouse safety
n
Reasonable level of physical fitness
n
Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
n

We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a warehouse organised and running properly. You don't need to be sitting around waiting to be told what to do — if stock needs organising, an area needs cleaning or something needs preparing for dispatch, you're happy to get stuck in.
