ROLE SUMMARY n
The Fan Engagement Manager is responsible for growing and strengthening the
n
Supercars fan base by delivering compelling membership, grassroots and education
n
programs that drive both acquisition and deeper engagement. Reporting to the Head of
n
Marketing, this role works cross-functionally with the broader marketing team, digital,
n
partnerships and events to understand fan and engaged audiences, unlock growth
n
opportunities, elevate on-site and off-track experiences, and ensure all engagement
n
activity consistently reflects and enhances the Supercars brand all year round.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Membership Programs (MySupercars) n
n
Develop, implement, and manage the MySupercars Membership program to drive acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
n
Build annual and event specific membership campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
n
Work cross functionally with CRM, Digital, Partnerships and Events to develop compelling member benefits, exclusive and personalised content, and attract experiences.
n
Use data analysis and insights to refine membership offerings and enhance customer value.
n
Oversee membership communications including eDMs, renewal cycles, onboarding journeys, and content updates.
n
2. Grassroots Engagement n
n
Develop and deliver initiatives that connect Supercars with local communities and grassroots motorsport networks.
n
Build robust relationships with motorsport clubs, regional influencers, community ambassadors, schools and local organisations to expand brand reach.
n
Identify and activate community-level promotional opportunities, local partnerships, and event-based engagement.
n
Support the integration of grassroots activities into broader event marketing and brand strategies.
n
3. Fan Base Growth & Audience Engagement n
n
Build and deliver strategies to grow the Supercars fan base, increasing both engaged audiences and new fan acquisition.
n
Develop a deep understanding of fan and engaged audience segments using data, insights and on-the-ground learnings.
n
Identify and activate opportunities to deepen engagement with existing fans while attracting new fans to the sport across membership, events, grassroots and education programs.
n
Partner with Marketing, CRM and Digital teams to deliver targeted, insight-led initiatives that drive measurable growth.
n
Track, report and optimise performance against audience growth and engagement KPIs, using insights to continuously refine activity.
n
4. Community Engagement n
n
Lead planning, coordination and delivery of the Students on Track program across all relevant events.
n
Working closely with the Girls in Motorsport initiative to drive meaningful collaboration
n
Manage all logistics, communications, scheduling and on-site facilitation for student groups, teachers, and partner organisations.
n
Work with education stakeholders to enhance program reputation and participation.
n
Oversee creation of student-focused communications, learning materials and pre/post-event information.
n
Ensure all on-site experiences are safe, organised and aligned with brand and event objectives.
n
5. Content & Communications Management n
n
Manage content updates for Memberships web pages
n
Develop eDM content for Students on Track and Membership communications.
n
Contribute to at-track communications including big screen content
n
Monitor and respond to fan enquiries through digital channels and customer service platforms.
n
6. Budget & Administration n
n
Manage budgets for Membership, Grassroots and Students on Track programs.
n
Manage supplier relationships, procurement processes, and invoicing.
n
Provide relevant updates of required marketing commitments for government and/or commercial partners including:
n
Marketing plans
n
Ancillary activity plans
n
Post-event reports
n
Surveys and insights
n

Growth in fan base and engaged audiences (acquisition and retention).

Increased participation across membership, grassroots and Students on Track.

Improved engagement and satisfaction with in office and digital fan experiences.

KEY REQUIREMENTS Qualifications & Experience n
n
Degree-level qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Sport
n
Management or related field (preferred).
n
Experience in fan engagement, community programs or membership
n
management within sport, entertainment or events.
n
Experience collaborating with community groups, and external partners.
n
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building ability.
n
Demonstrated ability to grow fan and/or engaged audiences through insight-led
n
strategies and measurable engagement initiatives.
n
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple projects
n
simultaneously.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
n
Comfortable analysing data and translating insights into action.
n
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven setting.
n
