Highfields Manor is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and creative Lifestyle Assistant to join our team and help create meaningful and enjoyable experiences for our residents.
n
This is a hands‐on role for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with older people and helping them remain connected, active and engaged in daily life.
About the Role n
As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will work alongside our Lifestyle team to support a diverse program of activities and social experiences for our residents.
Your day may include: n
n
Supporting group activities such as bingo, exercise, crafts, games, music and karaoke
n
Spending one‐on‐one time with residents and supporting individual interests
n
Helping organise and participate in bus outings, special events and celebrations
n
Encouraging residents to participate in activities and socialise with others
n
Supporting residents to maintain connections with family, friends and the community
n
Assisting with setting up and packing away activities
n
Helping create a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment
n
Getting to know our residents and understanding their individual interests, stories and preferences
n




Working as part of a supportive Lifestyle and care team
n
About You n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n
Warm, friendly and genuinely enjoys working with older people
n
Creative, energetic and enthusiastic
n
Patient, compassionate and respectful
n
Confident engaging with residents and families
n
Comfortable leading or assisting with group activities
n
Reliable and able to work as part of a team
n
Willing to get involved and have a bit of fun
n
n
Experience in aged care, lifestyle or community services is highly regarded, but we are also interested in people with the right attitude and personality who want to make a difference.
