We are currently looking for experienced Production Supervisor for a copper project in Nyngan.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, supporting and developing the operational team, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
n
Working closely with the broader site leadership team, you will drive a strong safety culture, maximise equipment utilisation and support the achievement of production targets. This is an opportunity to join a long-term project and play an important role in building a high-performing production team.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Lead, supervise and support production crews to achieve daily targets
n
Coordinate day-to-day mining activities and allocate resources effectively
n
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the operation
n
Monitor production performance, equipment utilisation and operational efficiency
n
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
n
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and other crew communications
n
Ensure compliance with site procedures,



policies and relevant legislation
n
Work closely with Maintenance and other site departments to coordinate operational requirements
n
Provide coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to team members
n
Report on production performance, safety and operational issues
n
Support the development of a positive, accountable and high-performing team environment
n
About You n
n
Demonstrated experience in a
Production Supervisor or similar leadership role
within a mining environment
n
Robust experience in open-cut production mining
n
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop operational teams
n
Strong understanding of production, safety and operational processes
n
Experience working with excavators, dozers and other production mining equipment highly regarded
n
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing operational environment
n
Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
n
