Job Description

This is a varied, hands-on role covering receiving raw materials, supplying the factory, warehousing finished goods, picking and packing orders, and loading trucks.
Key responsibilities n
n
Unloading incoming deliveries of raw materials and packaging
n
Checking deliveries and putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations
n
Moving and organising pallets and stock throughout the warehouse
n
Supplying raw materials and packaging to the factory production areas
n
Receiving finished goods from production and putting them away
n
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
n
Preparing pallets and orders for dispatch
n
Loading finished goods onto trucks
n
Checking stock quantities and assisting with stock control
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
n
About you n
n
Reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
n




Organised and takes pride in keeping a tidy warehouse
n
Can work independently as well as part of a team
n
Has good attention to detail when picking and checking orders
n
Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
n
Physically capable of manual handling and being active throughout the day
n
Understands the importance of safety when working around forklifts, trucks and machinery
n
Previous experience in warehousing, stores, dispatch, manufacturing or logistics would be highly regarded
n
Current forklift licence and forklift experience would be an advantage
n
