Job Description

Due to our continuing growth, Bathersby Legal is looking to employ a Legal Secretary to join its team, on a full-time basis.
n
n
The successful candidate will possess:-
n
n
a minimum of 5 years' experience in a legal secretarial position;
n
n
experience with drafting Court documents, letters and transcription;
n
n
attention to detail and accuracy in data entry;
n
n
an ability to prioritise tasks;
n
n
a high level of typing and documentation accuracy; and
n
n
The key responsibilities for the role include:-
n
n
supporting the Director and solicitors with matter management (including key date bring-ups, prioritising work and actioning tasks in a timely manner);
n
n
opening new files, archiving completed files and general administrative tasks;
n
n
drafting invoices, organising payment of external creditors, monitoring unpaid invoices;
n
n
preparing correspondence, reports, briefs to Counsel and Court documents; and
n
n
attending to lodgment and/or filing of various documents.
