This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, ****
Hedland Senior High School (SHS), located in the Pilbara, is an Independent Public School catering for students from Year 7 to Year 12. The Role
Teachers in the Hedland SHS Health and Physical Education team are focused on creating outstanding outcomes for students and empowering every learner. We are a collaborative, supportive and close-knit team in a way that only a high-quality regional school can be. Our practice is data-driven to ensure improvement for our students.
The successful applicant will ideally strive for excellence in Health and Physical Education teaching and display a desire to deliver a range of courses across Year 7-12. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessing and/or Outdoor Education qualifications is highly regarded. We aim to empower young people from diverse backgrounds so all students can be successful. High-quality relationships and collaborative practice are a key asset to our team's success. The applicant will ideally display an ongoing willingness to learn from and share their experience with other members of the team.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment,



with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
