ITSM Security Consultant Contract length: 12-Month Contract About the role n
We're looking for an experienced ICT security qualified to join us on a 12-month contract. You'll manage day-to-day ICT and physical/personnel security across the business, and be the go-to person for security and supply chain risk questions from our federal government customers.
What you'll do n
n
Run day-to-day ICT security operations: access management, patching and vulnerability oversight, incident triage and response, and security monitoring
n
Maintain security policies, procedures and registers, and support ITSM processes (incident, change and problem management)
n
Oversee general security, including physical, personnel and information security
n
Respond to federal government customer security questionnaires, risk assessments and assurance requests
n




Assess and manage supply chain and third-party risk, including vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring
n
Brief management on security risks and remediation priorities
n
What you'll bring n
n
5+ years in ICT security, security risk or GRC roles
n
Hands-on experience responding to Commonwealth customer security and risk requirements
n
Working knowledge of the ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and ACSC supply chain guidance
n
Experience with ITSM tools and processes (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, ITIL)
n
Strong writing skills. You'll be producing assessments and responses that go to government customers
n
Australian citizenship and an existing NV1 security clearance
n
