Role Overview n
Calvary Christian College has a robust, vibrant community where food and hospitality are valued. During the day we operate a fully functioning Canteen/Tuckshop for the purpose of providing quality food and training opportunities to the Calvary Community.
n
Working as part of our Canteen team, this role will directly contribute to enhancing our vibrant community through preparing quality food and serving in our Canteen.
n
This position would ideally suit a person with experience in a Canteen or other hospitality experience who would like to work school hours, term time only, and make a valuable contribution to the mission taking place at Calvary Christian College.
Shifts from 7:00am to 10:00am are available four days per week.

You are a committed Christian, a servant leader.

You are passionate about providing a warm and welcoming service to our community.
n
You have had experience in the hospitality industry and are an experienced barista, or are willing to be trained if required.
n
You are well presented,
confident and have excellent communication skills.
n
You have a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to excellence.
n
Responsibilities n
This role will be responsible for:
n
n
Serving students, parents and staff in a manner which reflects the College's values and commitment to discipleship.
n
Assisting with planning, preparing and presenting quality food including simple dishes and may include barista drinks.
n
Assisting with the preparation of food for College events and functions.
n
Ensuring that safety (WHS), health, hygiene and cleanliness of the canteen are maintained to a high standard.
n
If required, assisting in the training of students.
n
Leading, promoting and demonstrating the principles and values of a Christian Education at Calvary.
n
Participating in staff devotions and College worship sessions.
n
Selection Criteria n
n
Strong, vibrant Christian faith and commitment to mission.
n
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and capacity to quickly develop authentic relationships and instil confidence in others.
n
Current experience in delivering the responsibilities outlined above
n

This role is based at our Carbrook Campus.
