We're partnering with a highly regarded public practice accounting firm that's looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join its growing team.

n The Opportunity You'll manage your own portfolio of bookkeeping clients across a diverse range of industries while working closely with both the accounting team and offshore support staff.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
n
n
Managing end-to-end bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
n
n
Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with BAS, IAS, STP, Payroll Tax, TPAR and WorkCover obligations
n
n
Preparing reconciliations, management reports and financial information
n
n
Managing client onboarding, file reviews and clean-ups
n
n
Building trusted relationships with clients and providing exceptional service
n
n
Reviewing work completed by the offshore team to ensure accuracy and quality
n
n
Identifying process improvements and helping clients streamline their bookkeeping functions
n
n
n
nAbout You To be successful, you'll ideally have: n
n
n
n
Previous bookkeeping experience within a public practice accounting firm or bookkeeping firm
n
n




Experience managing multiple client portfolios
n
n
Strong knowledge of BAS, payroll and statutory compliance requirements
n
n
Experience using Xero and other cloud-based accounting software
n
n
Excellent reconciliation skills and strong attention to detail
n
n
Outstanding communication and client relationship management skills
n
n
The ability to prioritise competing deadlines while working collaboratively within a team
n
n
