About the role
n
n
We are currently looking to appoint an Early Childhood Teacher, you will liaise with a supportive director and ECT - Educational Leader on how you can create a fun and engaging creative based learning environment with a school readiness focus. The position will be available from November ****
n
n
This role requires the applicant to be able to work within a team of experienced educators, someone who is able to collaborate with other like-minded educators and is able to effectively engaging in, and evaluateearly learning experiences / programs.
n
n
The position has opportunity to grow and develop different roles and offers professional development in a supportive hands on setting.
n
n
The position requires someone who is dedicated, confident and articulate in early childhood pedagogy and practice - someone with an absolutepassion for education and care.
n

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
n
n




Be involved in the development ofan age appropriateprogram that contributes to each child's interests and emotional and social wellbeing;
n
n
Complete documentation of children's experiences and learning;
n
n
Regularly monitor the environment and actively maintain a safe, clean and well-maintained premise;
n
n
Engage in professional and respectful communication with families, children and the team;
n
n
Contribute to the philosophy of the program and actively live the values and vision of the organisation.
n
n
Support your peers in striving for high quality programs, practices and environments.

Skills and experience
n
n
Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood Education (4 year qualified), OR working towards Early Childhood Degree
n
n
Teacher registration in NSW
n
n
Current, ClearedWorking with Children Check
n
n
Completion of Child Protection course and Geccko Training
n
n
Current approved first aid and CPR
n
n
Thorough working knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
n
