Due to our constant growth, we are looking for a
Process Engineer
with a strong experience
in pharma sector
to support our projects in
Melbourne, Australia.
You'll Be Responsible For:
Supporting the operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical cGMP utility systems, including cleanroom HVAC, Purified Water, WFI (Water for Injection), pure steam, and critical gases.
Applying analytical thinking and sound plant diagnostic/reliability engineering methods to resolve routine operational issues within your scope.
Undertaking an intensive learning period to build full competency in operating, diagnosing, and maintaining the facility's utility plant.
Working under close supervision to achieve operational targets, while explaining and applying relevant site policies, facts, and standard practices.
Executing all daily activities with strict adherence to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental protection standards.
About You:
Bachelors' degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or a related discipline) from a recognized tertiary institution, with eligibility for professional membership with Engineers Australia.
2+ years
of hands-on experience working with cGMP utilities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Theoretical and practical grounding in utility plant operations, cleanroom systems, and diagnostic techniques.
Comfortable working under guided oversight, with a robust drive to learn quickly and solve day-to-day operational problems.
Good written and verbal communication, structured personal organization, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental protection.
Nice to have:
Postgraduate studies in Frontline Management or Business.
Experience in process system design, fault diagnosis, or operation (particularly ABB MOD300 and Siemens PCS 7).
Prior experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Knowledge of mass/energy balance models for waste and energy reduction initiatives.
Exposure to trade staff supervision or broader pharmaceutical process plants.
