THE POSITION
n
n
Handle investigations, complaints, and ensure policy adherence.
n
Coach and mentor managers on performance management and HR processes.
n
Act as the first point of contact for Union inquiries.
n
Oversee performance reviews, training administration, and audit compliance.
n
Support recruitment for talent attraction strategies and maintain staff pipelines.
n
Provide HR support, resolve employee queries, and lead safety initiatives.
n




Manage workers' comp claims and HR-related systems (PageUp, Deputy, CHESS).
n
n
THE PERSON
n
n
Minimum of 5 years' generalist HR experience, ideally in blue-collar or healthcare environments.
n
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
n
Proven experience coaching and mentoring managers.
n
Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field are highly desirable.
n
Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and provide proof of immunity for vaccine preventable diseases.
n
n
Experience within a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
