We are currently seeking a
Foundry Labourer
to join our
Dalby operations
on a
full-time, permanent basis
, with regular overtime available.
About the Role n
As a Foundry Labourer, you will support our manufacturing operations across areas such as
Beforecast and the Melt Shop
. Depending on operational requirements, your duties may include preparing sand moulds, operating foundry equipment and assisting with the metal melting and casting process.
n
This role offers:

A 38-hour week, Monday to Friday
n

You will work as part of a skilled production team in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Produce moulds and cores using boxed and boxless moulding techniques
n
Prepare moulds for the casting of molten metal
n
Select appropriate moulding boxes and report equipment defects
n
Operate sand mixing machinery and other foundry equipment
n
Assist with Melt Shop operations and the metal casting process
n
Safely handle materials, tools and equipment
n
Correctly use and maintain PPE and safety equipment
n
Maintain clean and organised work areas
n
Follow workplace procedures and safe work practices
n
Contribute to continuous improvement across production operations
n
About You n

The physical capability to perform hands-on work in a manufacturing environment

Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts or lifting equipment is desirable but not essential
n
Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is beneficial; however, it is not required, as full training will be provided.
