Artlab Dental is a modern dental practice in Silverdale, and we are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our growing team.
n

. Dental experience is certainly valued, but just as importantly, we are looking for someone with a bright personality who takes pride in their work, works well with others and genuinely wants to become part of the team long-term.
About the position n
The position will
initially be offered on a casual basis, approximately 1–3 days per week
, depending on your availability and the needs of the practice.
n
We believe it is important for both the employee and the practice to have some time working together before making a longer-term commitment.
n
For the right person, once we have worked together for a period of time and both sides feel that it is a good fit, we would be happy to discuss transitioning to a
permanent part time position of approximately 3–4 days per week
.
n
Our usual working hours are
8:30am–5:30pm
, with a one-hour lunch break.
About the role n
Your duties may include:
n

n
Chairside assisting for general, restorative, surgical and other dental procedures
n
n
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials
n
n
Sterilisation and infection control
n
n
Assisting with stock organisation
n
n
Supporting efficient day-to-day clinical workflow
n
n




Helping provide a comfortable and positive experience for our patients
n
Who we are looking for n
Previous dental assisting experience is highly regarded, although we are also open to applicants who may be newer to dentistry but demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
n

Certificate III in Dental Assisting is an advantage but is not essential.
