Local & Regional Deliveries | Varied Work | Hands-On Role MR Driver – Immediate Start | Goulburn n
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking MR Driver to join our busy team in Goulburn for an immediate start.
n
This isn't a role where you'll spend every day doing the same run. You'll be delivering a variety of loads to customers throughout Goulburn and surrounding regions, including stockfeed, hay, general freight and occasional building supplies.
n
You'll be working with a small, busy team where reliability, common sense and a willingness to get in and help are highly valued.
About the role n
Your day-to-day work may include:
n
n
n
Local and regional deliveries throughout
Goulburn, Canberra, Yass, Southern Highlands, Sydney and surrounding areas
n
n
Delivering stockfeed, hay, general freight and other goods
n
n
Deliveries directly to farms, businesses and customer properties
n
n
Loading and unloading trucks
n
n
Hand unloading some deliveries, including repetitive lifting of
*****kg bags
n
n
Checking loads and ensuring they remain within legal weight and loading requirements
n
n
Completing basic delivery paperwork and communicating with customers and our team
n
n
General assistance around the yard/store when required
n
About you n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
n
Holds a
current MR licence
n
n
Has a good driving history and takes pride in looking after their vehicle
n




n
Is
reliable and turns up when they say they will
n
n
Is physically capable and comfortable with manual handling
n
n
Has a practical, can-do attitude
n
n
Can work independently and use common sense
n
n
Is comfortable dealing directly with customers
n
n
Has basic maths skills and an understanding of vehicle/load capacities
n
n
Is adaptable with start and finish times when required
n
n
A
forklift licence is highly regarded
, but not essential.
n
Previous truck driving or delivery experience is preferred, however we're happy to provide training to the right person with the right attitude.
Don't currently hold an MR licence? n
We may consider an exceptional applicant who is genuinely willing and able to upgrade their licence promptly.
Hours n
Hours vary depending on deliveries and workload and can include
early starts and occasional later finishes
.
