YEM Technology is seeking an experienced
Mechanical Supervisor
to join our team at the Sino Iron Project, located at Cape Preston, 100km southwest of Karratha in Western Australia.
n
This is a permanent FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster.

The Role n
The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and upgrading works for the magnetite iron-ore beneficiation plant and other duties as listed below:

Providing effective leadership and supervision to the mechanical team, ensuring mechanical works are completed within YEM expectations and safety regulations.
n
Conducting regular audits and statutory inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
n




Ensuring contractors working onsite are appropriately trained and complying with site safety and equipment standards.
n
Undertake any other duty within your capabilities, to meet team/project needs.
n
Fast-paced rolling shutdown schedule
n
Complying and supporting YEM Quality Management System including reporting, investigating, and rectifying non-conformances
n
Requirements for the Role n
We are seeking experienced candidates with the following skills, experience and qualities:
n
n
Previous experience in leadership and supervision inmechanical maintenance
n
Experience in the maintenance of mechanical equipment within a minerals processing environment, particularly on diverter chute and screen maintenance
n
Strong work history and clear knowledge of replacing panels, structural metal and mechanical repairs
n
Mechanical Fitter Trade background
n
Confined Space, Working at Height & EWP ticket within 5 years
n
S26 Statutory supervisor qualification
n
Relevant tickets and qualifications required in the industry
n
Ability to be versatile with your approach to work
n
Foster and maintain a high commitment to safety through supervision and a high level of communication
n
Hands-on and practical approach to work systems
n
What We Offer n

FULL-TIME hourly rate between $***** to $***** per hour
n
KPI bonus payments paid quarterly
n
Ongoing 2:1 roster
n
Paid travel to and from site, along with paid lunches while on shift
