Sara Lee is looking for a
Maintenance Electrician.
This is a hands-on role within a rapid-paced
FMCG manufacturing environment
, supporting production through
breakdown response, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement
initiatives.
n
You'll play a key role in ensuring
plant reliability, equipment uptime, and safe production operations
in a manufacturing environment.
Shift & Flexibility n
This is mainly a
Monday to Friday position
, offering stable weekday work with occasional weekend overtime for planned maintenance and projects.
n
You'll also be required to support the team by covering
afternoon and night shifts when needed
, providing essential
leave coverage
to ensure continuity of
breakdown response, maintenance support, and production uptime
across the site.
Key Responsibilities n
n
n
Respond to
electrical breakdowns
and provide rapid fault diagnosis and repair
n
n
Carry out
planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
on manufacturing equipment
n
n
Install, test, and commission
electrical systems and machinery
n
n
Perform
fault finding and troubleshooting
across production and packaging equipment
n
n
Support
equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
n
n
Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimise plant performance
n
n
Ensure all work complies with
safety, quality,



and food manufacturing standards
n
About You n
n
n
Qualified
NSW Licensed Electrician
(essential)
n
n
Experience in
manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or fast-paced maintenance environments
n
n
Strong
fault finding, breakdown response, and problem-solving skills
n
n
Experience with
preventative maintenance and plant reliability
(highly regarded)
n
n
Basic
automation / PLC exposure
desirable but not essential
n
n
Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
n
n
A proactive, solution-focused mindset
