We are currently partnering with a leading ASX-listed mining company to appoint a Part Time Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
/n
This is an excellent chance for an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible part time role within a well established and growing mining organisation.
/n
Reporting into the broader Finance/Payroll function, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a fortnightly payroll of approximately 350 employees .
/n
The role is initially anticipated to be approximately 3 days per week / 0.6 FTE (flexible)
Key Responsibilities /n

/n
Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for approximately 350 employees.
/n
/n
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies.
/n
/n
Maintain accurate employee payroll records and resolve payroll-related queries.
/n
/n
Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations and payroll compliance requirements.
/n
/n
Work closely with HR, Finance and other internal stakeholders.
/n
/n
Support continuous improvement across payroll processes and systems.
/n
About You /n
We are looking for an experienced payroll skilled who is confident working independently and managing a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
/n
/n
/n
SAP payroll experience highly desirable.
/n
/n
Strong understanding of payroll processes and relevant Australian legislation.
/n
/n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
/n
/n
The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
/n
