Assistant Club Manager- Fernwood Fitness Woonona

Our members enjoy Reformer Pilates, FIIT30, group fitness, recovery, childcare and more, all in one welcoming space.
We're looking for an organised, proactiveAssistant Club Managerto work closely with our senior management team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves people, has strong sales experience and takes pride in making sure things get done.
What you'll do Administration and operations
Oversee club administration, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Manage cancellations, including member follow-up, processing and record keeping.
Learn new systems, app updates and operational processes, then help the team put them into practice.
Identify gaps and ways to improve how the club runs.
Take ownership of the club's retention plan and make sure it happens consistently.
Allocate retention tasks to the reception and fitness teams, then follow up on completion and results.
Monitor cancellation reasons and member feedback, and recommend ways to improve the member experience.
Team and management support




Organise meetings, record actions and follow up with the team.
Help coordinate team training and ensure required training is completed.
Support with club projects and day-to-day priorities.
Sales and reception
Use your sales experience to support enquiries, tours and membership conversations.
Learn our membership options and sales processes so you can step in confidently when needed.
Learn reception procedures and provide practical cover during busy periods.
Work across teams to keep communication clear and members well looked after.
About you
You're organised, dependable and comfortable taking ownership.
You can manage competing priorities, communicate clearly and follow things through.
You're happy to get involved wherever the team needs you and bring positive energy to a busy club.
Sales experience is essential.
Fitness industry experience or qualifications, such as a Certificate III or IV in Fitness, are highly desirable but not necessary for the right applicant.
Experience with social media, Canva or marketing is desirable.
