Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are looking for a practical and motivated candidate to join our field team and use their experience in stack testing/air monitoring to support our clients, perform on‑site testing and collect data. This role will suit a candidate who enjoys physical work as the position involves lifting heavy equipment and a considerable amount of travel to perform testing (travel allowance provided).
Key Responsibilities /n
/n
Measure and perform air quality tests & manage field samples.
/n
Complete associated preparation, cleaning, maintenance & calibration of equipment.
/n
Analyse air quality data.
/n
Troubleshoot testing issues.
/n
Summarise data into relevant reporting formats.
/n
Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
/n
Depending on the level of experience – manage clients, implement job lifecycle, and participate in tenders.
/n
Experience / Knowledge Required /n
/n
Relevant work experience in stack testing and air monitoring assessments.
/n
A relevant tertiary qualification is beneficial but not essential.
/n
Knowledge of testing methods, equipment use, data collection and some understanding of client requirements and job lifecycle.
/n
Knowledge and understanding of underlying principles of air monitoring. Accreditation of QSTI is highly desirable.
/n
Understanding of analytical principles, air monitoring analysers and associated technology.
/n

Comfortable working at heights, with the ability to climb 12 sets of stairs and/or climb a 30m cage ladder.
/n
Generally fit with the ability to lift load of 25kgs.
/n
Willing to expand their knowledge of environmental testing and keep abreast of recent trends and regulations in the industry.
/n
The successful candidate will also need a valid drivers' license (probationary license is acceptable).
