Job Description

The Operations Support Officer provides day-to-day operational and administrative support to the COO and broader operations team, ensuring the smooth and effective running of depot activities, fleet coordination, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

/n

Assist the COO with daily operational tasks and coordination across depots

/n

Support scheduling, rostering, and allocation of drivers and vehicles

/n

Monitor and follow up on operational issues, delays, and service disruptions

/n

Liaise with drivers, workshop staff, and control centre to ensure clear communication

/n

Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and audit processes

/n

Coordinate documentation including reports, checklists, and operational records

/n

Support incident reporting and ensure records are completed accurately and on time

/n

Track and follow up outstanding actions from audits, inspections, and meetings

/n

Assist with fleet management tasks including vehicle availability, servicing schedules, and defect reporting

/n

Provide general administrative support to the operations team

/n

Key Skills & Experience

/n

Experience in transport, logistics,



or depot operations (preferred)

/n

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

/n

Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and management

/n

Positive problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

/n

Competent in Microsoft Office and operational systems

/n

Understanding of compliance and safety requirements (desirable)

/n
