We are seeking a motivated and professional
Building Manager
to join our growing team.

We are a Melbourne-based Facilities Management company with an extensive portfolio of high-end residential properties. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and creating a premium residential experience, while ensuring the buildings under our management are maintained and presented to a high standard.

Previous Building Management experience is highly regarded; however, we also welcome applicants from other industries who can demonstrate strong
management, customer service, organisational and operational skills
that are transferable to the role.

About the role n
As a Building Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential property and will report directly to an Operations Manager who will provide ongoing direction and support.
n
The role combines
building operations, contractor management, administration and resident service
. You will be a key point of contact for residents and will play an important role in maintaining a professional, welcoming and well-managed residential environment.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Coordinating the day-to-day operation and presentation of the property.
n
Providing professional assistance, information and support to residents.
n
Building positive relationships with residents,
contractors and other stakeholders.
n
Implementing and monitoring the property's annual maintenance plan.
n
Coordinating contractors, obtaining quotations and following up maintenance works.
n
Monitoring work to ensure it is completed on time and to the required standard.
n
Identifying maintenance and operational issues and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
n
Maintaining accurate building, maintenance and operational records.
n
Preparing professional reports, correspondence and resident communications.
n
Following established company procedures and site requirements.
n
Where applicable, supervising and coordinating other in office staff.
About you n
You will be a proactive manager who takes ownership of your responsibilities and follows matters through to completion.
n
You will be comfortable working independently while also contributing to a broader Building Management and Operations team.
n
To succeed in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
n
Previous Building Management experience
or
management experience in an industry with relevant transferable skills.
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
n
A proactive approach to managing tasks and following up outstanding matters.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Professional customer service experience and the ability to communicate confidently with residents and stakeholders.
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
n
The ability to coordinate contractors and monitor the completion and quality of works.
n
Confidence learning building management software and other systems.
n
The ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and operational guidelines.
n
Experience supervising or managing a small team would be advantageous.
n
A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
n
Building-specific technical knowledge can be developed through experience and training; however, applicants should have the management capability and willingness to develop a sound working knowledge of building systems and operations.
n
