Quality Auditor - Fabrication & Finishing
A great launching pad to establish your career pathway within our organisation, the role ofQuality Auditor (Fabrication & Finishing)is key in maintaining and enhancing quality standards for our best-in-class product range.
Working alongside production teams in the Fabrication and Finishing area, you will perform inspections, audits, and process monitoring to ensure compliance with customer requirements, product specifications, and key safety standards.
A team player with a natural ability to build relationships you will help drive and embed a robust quality culture at every step of the process.
Ahands-on position that lets you apply your eye for detail, good communication and practical knowledgewhilst building new skills in inspection, auditing, and process improvement.
What a typical day would involve:
ConductFirst Off/Last Offand periodic inspections toverify compliance with specifications, drawings, and control plans.
Perform random audits of production processes, ensuring adherence to PCPs, SOPs, and work instructions.
Analyse non-conformities and support corrective actions to reduce Cost of Poor Quality and non-conformance trends.
Monitor process performance and compile quality reports, particularly relating towelding and finishing.
Collaborate with Production Team Leaders and Design/Quality Engineers to identify and resolve quality issues in real time.
Drive continuous improvementby analysing defects, warranty data,



and process inefficiencies.
What you bring to the role
Manufacturing Auditsexperience within a metal fabrication and coating production environment.
(Qualifications in metal welding, inspection and coating is highly desirable)
Strong ability to read, interpret and apply Engineering drawings and technical specifications; ie familiarity with welding processes and symbols, as well as paint and coating performance standards (highly advantageous)
Hands-on experience in quality inspection and measurement equipment, including FARO arms, Verniers, height gauges and other precision measuring tools
"Can do" attitude with an openness to learning and being a contributing member
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and develop rapport
Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Computer proficient - MS Office for reporting and data analysis.
Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments, with a focus on results and customer expectations.
