Key accountabilities of the role
n
Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate with 8-10 Yrs of experience
n
n
Must have expert SQL Development experience - minimum 5 Yrs of experience
n
Must be able to perform Analysis:
n
· Data Analysis
n
· SQL Script Analysis to understand the business logic
n
· Unix jobs analysis
n
Must have good hands-on experience on writing PL/SQL
n
Must have good hands-on experience on UNIX Shell scripting
n
Exposure to Control-M Scheduling.
n
Exposure to Testing and should be able to efficientlyperform Testing.
n
Should have experience on Git and Jenkins.
n
Banking Domain experience (3-5 years)
n
Experience deploying/managing Data and Data Warehouse solutions.
n
Experience in understanding and developing data systems in
n
· Data Engineering technologies (e.g. Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
n
· Data Warehousing (e.g. SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
n
· Comfortable writing code in either Python, Scala, or Java
n
· Good AWS fundamentals knowledge
n
Understanding of Solution Development life cycles
n
Key Challenges of the role :
n
n
· Knowledge on cloud technologies, ideally AWS. Have worked in a data operations position for a large Enterprise.
n
· Working knowledge in Infrastructure as code frameworks, Ansible/Terraform/ Cloud
formation/Docker/ECS/Kubernetes/Packer
n
