Casual shifts across both homes

Monday & Sunday Night Shifts must be available

Pay rate – $***** - $***** per hour + superannuation dep on experience

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work across both of our Bathurst homes as a casual.
n
You need to have at least 3 days work availability and be able to commit to a week of Orientation, training and buddy shifts at the outset.
n
The casual role is not suitable for new grads. Ideally you will be available to work a minimum of 2 of the night shifts.
About the Role n
n
Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
n
Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
n
Working in a secure manner to protect yourself,



your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
n
To be successful in this role you'll need n
n
A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
n
Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
n
Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
n
Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
n
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
n
Strong coaching/training skills
n
Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
n
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
n
Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
n
