Job Description
Warehouse Manager – Women's Apparel & Homewares
Are you ready to be the glue that keeps our business connected and running smoothly?
As our Warehouse Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and the flow of stock across our three retail stores and wholesale customers
From receiving and processing new deliveries to coordinating store replenishments, stock transfers and wholesale dispatch, you'll take ownership of making sure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
You'll also manage and support three part-time warehouse staff members, coordinating workloads and daily priorities while remaining very hands-on in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, takes pride in getting things right and enjoys finding better ways of doing things.
You'll have the independence to take ownership of the warehouse while working closely with our retail stores and department managers.
We're a small, fast-paced business, so flexibility and communication are essential.
Priorities can change quickly, and we're looking for someone who can confidently take responsibility, solve problems and keep things moving.

Immediate Take-Over Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and stock movement across our three retail stores
Manage and support three part-time warehouse staff members, including coordinating daily tasks, priorities and workloads
Coordinate weekly replenishments for all three retail stores,
ensuring each location has the right stock at the right time
Drive the company van/car as required to deliver and transfer stock
Process, organise and dispatch new stock
Coordinate stock transfers between the warehouse and retail stores
Maintain an organised warehouse, including labelling and arranging stock for effective picking, packing and replenishment
Pack wholesale orders in coordination with the Wholesale Manager
Communicate regularly with retail store managers and staff regarding stock requirements, replenishments and inventory issues
Responsibilities Over Time
Take ownership of warehouse operations and inventory flow across the warehouse and three retail locations
Lead, organise and support the three part-time warehouse team members
Plan and delegate warehouse tasks to ensure priorities and deadlines are met
Oversee receiving, warehousing, stock transfers, replenishment and distribution
Monitor stock levels across all locations and identify replenishment requirements
Ensure accurate stock control and investigate inventory discrepancies
Coordinate regular stocktakes and cycle counts across the warehouse and retail stores
Develop and improve inventory management processes
Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures
Maintain an organised, clean and safe warehouse
Optimise warehouse space utilisation and layout
Manage warehouse equipment and ensure it is maintained appropriately
Inspect incoming and outgoing stock to ensure product quality
Ensure accurate and timely wholesale order fulfilment
Work closely with retail store managers, the Wholesale Manager and head office to keep stock moving efficiently across the business
Utilise Shopify and other systems to maintain accurate inventory and streamline warehouse operations
Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, processes and overall stock management
What We're Looking For
A mature and proactive "can-do" attitude
Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics or stock management
Confidence leading and coordinating a small team
A current QLD Class C or CA driver's licence and confidence driving the company van
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A willingness to be very hands-on.
This is not a desk-based management role
Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes
Punctual, reliable and highly organised
Strong communication skills, particularly when coordinating with teams across different locations
Exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable with change and able to pivot between priorities when required
A problem-solving mindset and willingness to suggest ideas and improvements
Honest, dependable and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities
Comfortable working within a close-knit team environment
Able to take direction while also confidently working independently
Previous experience withShopify, Australia Post, Aramex, Dymo Labelling and Google Workspacewould be advantageous.
