As an Oracle GoldenGate Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, availability, and performance of our databases that utilize Oracle GoldenGate technology. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining database replication solutions to meet our business needs.

We would be using OGG for real time data replication between two disparate systems.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
• DBA with hands on experience using Oracle Golden Gate.
n
• Experience with using the Oracle Golden Gate Microservices Architecture
n
• Experience with installing the Oracle Golden Gate Microservices Architecture
n
• Experience with using Oracle Golden Gate to transform CDC transaction into a JSON Canonical Message Model and vice versa
n
• Experience with using Golden Gate Adapters such as the JMS Adapter and the Big Data Adapter
n
• Experience with
Extract/Load/Transform
capabilities within Oracle Golden Gate
n
•
Develop/configure/test
GG Veridata for the functional data verification between Oracle-MSSQL.
n
• Collaboration with the data modeller and transforming the CDC by introducing the business rules into the GG code.
n
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate software across multiple environments (development, testing, production).
n
• Design and implement database replication solutions using Oracle GoldenGate to ensure high availability, disaster recovery,



and data integration.
n
• Monitor and optimize the performance of GoldenGate replication processes, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
n
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in designing and implementing database solutions.
n
• Develop and maintain documentation related to GoldenGate configurations, processes, and procedures.
n
• Perform regular backups, restores, and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
n
• Implement and enforce security best practices to protect sensitive data within the GoldenGate workplace.
n
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle GoldenGate features, patches, and upgrades, and make recommendations for their implementation.
n
Qualifications:
n
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience working as an Oracle Database Administrator with a focus on GoldenGate.
n
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting.
n
• Strong understanding of database concepts and principles, including replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
n
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation and monitoring tasks.
n
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
