Job Description

Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will be responsible for running your allocated section during service and ensuring consistently high standards of preparation, cooking and presentation.
Key responsibilities n
n
Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
n
Organising daily mise en place and service preparation
n
Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation
n
Assisting with seasonal menu development and specials
n
Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members
n
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
n
Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising food wastage
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and effective kitchen
n
About you n
n
Solid experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie (3+ years experience preferred)
n
A formal culinary qualification (Cert IV in Commertial Cookery) is not essential but will be highly regarded
n




Confident running a section independently
n
Strong cooking and organisational skills
n
Works well under pressure in a busy restaurant workplace
n
Takes pride in food quality and presentation
n
Positive attitude and works well within a team
n
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
n
