DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES n

Supervises and trains Beverage Servers, Bartenders, Barbacks and beverage utility on an assigned shift.
n
Ensures the smooth and efficient service throughout all beverage facilities in the casino.
n
Calibrates automatic beverage systems.
n
Conducts shift meetings with beverage staff assigning stations and facilitating the flow of information throughout the department.
n
Handles all team member relation issues as needed.
n
Supervises and reports to management all team member call-ins and scheduling conflicts to ensure a property cost effective staffing level.
n
Maintains professional grooming and appearance and acts as a role model according to established grooming and appearance policy.
n
Monitors guest alcohol consumption and responds accordingly.
n
Works in a clean, sanitary, protected, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
n
Promotes outstanding guest services throughout the casino resolving any guest dispute promptly and in a courteous manner.
n
Maintains knowledge of all state alcohol and gaming regulations and ensures adherence.
n
Makes recommendations and suggestions and hire, suspend, transfer, discipline and terminate.
n
Attends meetings as required.
n




Abides by all regulatory, internal, federal, and state controls and procedures.
n
Supervises the beverage service team members.
n
Create and utilize a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy through both formal and informal feedback as well as constant communication
n
Performs all other duties as assigned.
n
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS n
n
High school diploma or GED preferred.
n
One year of supervisory experience in casino or similar environment preferred.
n
One year experience in a high volume beverage operation or food and beverage environment required.
n
Basic knowledge of ABC and regulations required.
n
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills required.
n
Appropriate licenses, as required and ServSafe® certification, or ability to become certified, required.
n
Knowledge of FDA Food Code standards required.
n
Must be at least 21 years of age.
