We are looking for a reliable cleaner with great attention to detail to carry out overnight cleans of our restaurant in Melbourne CBD.
You must take pride in maintaining clean, well presented environments. This role involves cleaning a premium restaurant and ensuring all common areas and toilets are maintained to an exceptional standard for our guests.
About the Role
This is a casual position, working 2-3 hours per day across six days.
You will need to be able to carry out the 2 hour cleans Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of midnight and 8am and also do a 3 hour deeper opening clean of the restaurant any time on Sunday or Monday [ we're closed both days ].
We have a full scope of works and all equipment and chemicals will be provided. Experience is preferred, but you will be shown how to clean the venue and common areas effectively and exactly what is expected of you. No time-wasters please, we monitor the time spent in the venue and work carried out.
Key Responsibilities




Maintain the cleanliness of our restaurant, common areas, corridors and pubic restrooms
Vacuum, mop, dust and polish floors and surfaces.
Clean glass, mirrors and frequently touched areas
Empty bins and manage waste appropriately
Complete scheduled detail-cleaning tasks
Report maintenance issues, hazards or safety concerns promptly
Follow workplace health and safety requirements
About You
You will have full working rights in Australia
You must have solid attention to detail and pride in your work
Reliable, punctual and professionally presented
Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties
Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
Hotel or hospitality cleaning experience is highly regarded
