SAWTELLRSL CLUB
is a popular local venue offering food solutions for all its 9,000 members.
n

There is the busy Oasis Bistro seating 170 and the Waves Cafe seating around 50.
n
n
The Club also caters for functions with a 140 person function room upstairs and a 400 person auditorium. The food history shows around a $2 million revenue annually. This is a solid and busy catering operation so you will be hitting the ground running!
n
n
We are now looking for a
Chef
to support the Executive Chef and help lead the kitchen brigade of 14. You will be a person who truly knows how to lead a team to achieve and you are also passionate about food as well as delivering outstanding meals and customer service excellence!
n
n
You will expect to be immersed in a menu that is traditional Club Bistro style food with a up-to-date twist as well as daily blackboard specials that are certainly high-quality restaurant meals.



There is also a unique $16 lunch time menu to plan for which changes monthly. Are you interested in supporting a strong Exec Chef in a fast paced food operation?

The following attributes and experience would be considered advantageous:

Previous experience in a similar kitchen leadership role
n
n
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
n
n
Bring fresh ideas for menu design
n
n
Passion for good food
n
n
A knowledge of current food trends
n
n
A knowledge and commitment to implementing food safety, WHS and hygiene practices
n
n
Flexibility to work across 7 days and nights as required
n
n
Trade qualified with experience and a keen attention to detail.
