The Position: n
Process Plant Operations Traineeship
n
n
24-month nominal term traineeship
n
Earning a Certificate III in Process Plant Operations (PMA*****)
n
Work on rotating equipment, compressors and separators
n
Learn how to monitor and maintain production processes by using sophisticated computerized control equipment
n
Carry our daily tasks to ensure that the equipment is maintained and operating at a high level.
n
Control production processes and product quality
n
Deal with production upsets and equipment malfunctions
n
Operate valves, pumps and equipment
n
Monitor flows, temperatures and pressures
n
Administer permit to work and assist with planning of equipment maintenance and plant shutdown
n
Identifying any possible production problems
n
n
You will gain technical knowledge on hydrocarbon (natural gas) processing systems and develop skills. Your training will involve both on-the-job and classroom-based learning, both at local sites and registered training organisations.
To be successful you will be: n
n
An Australian citizen or permanent resident who resides in Queensland
n
Able to work flexible hours including 12-hour shifts on a 2 week on/off roster out of Roma
n
A team player with a willingness to actively contribute to achieving results




n
A high commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedures
n
Passionate about building a career in the Energy Industry
n
Completed, or about to complete, Year 12 with a pass in Mathematics, English and a Science subject is highly regarded or any Vocational Education and Training
n
Hold or be willing to obtain a drivers licence at the time of appointment.
