Head of Finance
. This is a high-profile opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to play a key role in driving commercial performance, leading finance business partnering, and influencing strategic decision-making across a complex manufacturing operation.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be a key member of the finance leadership team, providing commercial insight, financial stewardship, and operational challenge to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
The Opportunity n
This role offers the chance to reshape how finance supports the wider business, moving from historical reporting towards proactive, insight-led decision-making. You'll lead a team of Finance Business Partners and drive improvements across planning, forecasting, reporting, controls, and business performance.
Key responsibilities n
n
Acting as a trusted financial advisor to senior operational and commercial leaders
n
Leading and developing a high-performing Finance Business Partnering team
n
Owning budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
n
Delivering insightful financial reporting, KPI analysis and performance commentary
n
Driving financial control,



balance sheet governance and compliance
n
Identifying risks and opportunities across revenue, margin and cost performance
n
Leading finance transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvement
n
Supporting investment appraisal, capital allocation decisions and working capital optimisation
n
Deputising for the Finance Director where required
n
The Person n
We are looking a commercially minded finance leader with a proven track record within a
manufacturing environment
.
n
You will have:
n
n
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
n
Significant senior finance leadership experience
n
Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial or multi-site operations
n
Strong commercial acumen and business partnering capability
n
Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
n
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
n
Proven ability to drive change, process improvement and finance transformation
n
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
n
