CGC Recruitment is partnering with an established WA commercial and industrial builder seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the delivery team on a major $90m industrial development in Perth.

This is an opportunity to play a key commercial role on a substantial, purpose-built energy and logistics facility, working alongside an experienced project team on a technically diverse build.

The Project n
A major $90m industrial and energy logistics development incorporating large-scale warehousing, specialist operational facilities, commercial office space and extensive external works.
n
The project offers a diverse construction scope, with significant structural, civil, services and specialist subcontractor packages.
n
You'll gain exposure to the commercial management of a complex industrial development, rather than a conventional warehouse build.
The Role n
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you'll be responsible for:

n
Managing procurement and subcontractor packages from tender through to final account.
n
Preparing and administering subcontract agreements.
n
Managing variations,



progress claims and contractual correspondence
n
Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasting.
n
Identifying and managing commercial risks.
n
Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the project team.
n
Supporting the successful commercial delivery of this major development.
n
About You n
n
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator within commercial construction.
n
Experience on projects valued at $10m+ will be highly regarded.
n
Industrial, logistics or large-scale commercial project experience advantageous.
n
Solid procurement, negotiation and cost-management skills.
n
Confident managing subcontractor packages and commercial relationships.
n
Ambitious, commercially astute and keen to take ownership of your work.
n
