About the Department
The Clinical Genetics and Genomics Service (CGGS) at Bayside Health is a diagnostic and predictive health service for adults who have a known or suspected inherited genetic condition and/or have a family history of an inherited genetic condition.
About the Role
Applications are invited for the position of Specialist in Clinical Genetics (Fractional) at Alfred Care Group, Bayside Health, working 7 hours per week starting in November ****.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:
Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions,



undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice
Fellow of the relevant college
Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Clinical Genetics, with specific interest/experience in Cardiac Genetics
Meeting Bayside Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Clinical Genetics
Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels
Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly team-oriented relationships with others/ other teams.
