Lindsay Fresh, part of the Lindsay Australia Group, provides a range of logistics services including transhipping, ripening, produce storage, cross-docking, fumigation and import/export services.
Based within the Brisbane Markets at Rocklea, this role is responsible for overseeing a team of up to 20 drivers and ensuring runs are efficiently allocated, scheduled and delivered in a fast-paced, time-sensitive transport environment.
This is a Monday to Friday dayshift position, giving you the opportunity to lead a team and make a real impact on the day-to-day operation.
What You'll Do
Supervise drivers and provide clear direction across daily transport operations
Plan, allocate and adjust runs to meet customer, operational and delivery requirements
Coordinate driver rosters, start times and vehicle availability
Monitor delivery progress, respond to delays and communicate changes to drivers and stakeholders
Ensure timeslot, fatigue management, safety and transport compliance requirements are met
Complete operational paperwork, system updates and reporting accurately and on time
Lead by example and support a positive, accountable team culture
Ensure the safe conduct of transport operations in the workplace
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in transport operations, fleet coordination, allocation or supervision
Demonstrated experience allocating runs, scheduling drivers and responding to changing priorities
Sound knowledge of transport safety, fatigue management and compliance requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively lead and manage drivers
Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Flexibility and resilience, with the ability to manage changing priorities
Solid computer skills and confidence using transport or scheduling systems




Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills
