About the Role n
If you're a relationship-driven sales professional who loves getting out in front of customers, growing accounts and spotting the next opportunity, this could be your next move.
n
As Business Manager, VIC, you'll manage and develop an existing portfolio of Electrical Retail partners while identifying opportunities to increase distribution, sales and market share.
n
You'll build strong relationships with key decision-makers, understand customer needs, recommend product solutions and develop account plans that create genuine growth.
n
From customer visits and business reviews to new account development, product presentations and industry events, no two days will look exactly the same.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Manage and develop an existing portfolio of Electrical Retail customers
n
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and channel partners
n
Identify opportunities to increase product penetration and in-store share
n
Develop new accounts and distribution opportunities across Victoria
n




Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews and sales
presentationsRecommend
product solutions based on customer and end-user needs
n
Present promotions, product updates and training to customers
n
Develop and execute account plans to drive sales and growth
n
Support local marketing and channel activities
n
Analyse sales, market and customer data to identify opportunities
n
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and account plans
n
Keep up to date with product developments, industry trends and competitor activity
n
Share valuable market and customer insights with the State Manager
n
About You n
To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales territory management role
n
Strong relationship-building and customer management skills
n
Proven ability to generate leads and close sales
n
Strong communication and presentation skills
n
Excellent time management and planning abilities
n
Commercial awareness and an understanding of sales and revenue targets
n
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
n
A current driver's licence
n
A customer-first, proactive approach
n
Confidence working independently while contributing strongly to a team
n
n
Experience with the Electrical Retail channel or air conditioning market would be highly regarded, as would a trade or tertiary qualification in refrigeration, air conditioning or mechanical engineering.
