We are looking for an experienced
Gaming Manager
to join the team at the Longyard Hotel.
About the Venue n
The Longyard Hotel is one of Tamworth's best-known venues and a popular destination for locals, visitors and country music fans from across Australia.
n
Located behind the famous Golden Guitar, the Longyard offers quality dining, live entertainment, open verandahs, an outdoor beer garden, bottle shop and gaming room.
n
It's a busy, fast-paced venue with a strong focus on hospitality, entertainment and outstanding customer service.
About the Role n
The Longyard Hotel is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
Gaming Manager
to oversee all aspects of our gaming operations.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is organised, confident leading a team and understands the importance of compliance, customer service and attention to detail.
n
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the gaming room, while working closely with the Venue Manager and wider management team to ensure the gaming department operates efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities n
Lead the day-to-day operation of the gaming room, including poker machines, TAB and KENO
n
Oversee cash handling, reconciliations and reporting
n
Ensure all gaming operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations and venue procedures
n
Maintain a strong focus on responsible gambling and customer wellbeing
n
Ensure all gaming records,



procedures and compliance requirements are maintained accurately
n
Maintain a clean, safe, professional and welcoming gaming environment
n
Manage gaming room presentation, maintenance and day-to-day operational requirements
n
Monitor gaming performance and work with venue management to achieve business objectives
n
Assist with audits, inspections and compliance requirements
n
Work closely with other departments to ensure a consistent customer experience across the venue
About You n
We are looking for someone who:
n
Has proven experience managing gaming operations within a licensed venue
n
Has strong leadership and team management skills
n
Has a thorough understanding of poker machine systems, CRTs, TAB and KENO
n
Is highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented
n
Has a strong understanding of gaming compliance and responsible gambling
n
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Is confident working in a busy, fast-paced venue
n
Current RSA, RCG & ARCG
