This is a great opportunity for someone with a plumbing trade background or strong plumbing product knowledge who enjoys working with customers and wants to build a career in trade sales.
About the Role n
As a Trade Plumbing Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting our trade customers with their plumbing and building supply requirements.
n
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
n

n
Serving trade and retail customers at the trade counter
n
n
Providing knowledgeable advice on plumbing products and solutions
n
n
Preparing quotes and processing customer orders
n
n
Following up enquiries and identifying sales opportunities
n
n
Building strong relationships with plumbers, builders and trade customers
n
n
Assisting with product selection and sourcing
n
n
Processing sales through our point of sale system
n
n
Maintaining product knowledge and keeping up to date with new products
n
n
Assisting with stock management and merchandising
n
n




Working as part of a friendly and qualified branch team
n
About You n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
n
Has plumbing trade experience or strong plumbing product knowledge
n
n
Has experience in trade sales, plumbing supplies, hardware or building supplies
n
n
Understands the needs of plumbers and other trade customers
n
n
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
n
n
Is confident dealing with customers and suppliers
n
n
Can work independently while contributing to a team
n
n
Is organised, reliable and has a strong attention to detail
n
n
Has a positive attitude and takes pride in providing great service
n
n
Is comfortable working in a fast paced trade environment
n
n
A plumbing trade qualification or previous experience working in the plumbing industry will be highly regarded.
