Job Summary n
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands‐on
Linux System Administrator / Engineer
with robust expertise in managing, optimizing, and maintaining
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical proficiency in
performance tuning
,
configuration management
, and
infrastructure automation
, along with practical exposure to large-scale, enterprise-level Linux deployments.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Administer, configure, and maintain
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
systems across production and non-production environments.
n
Perform
performance tuning
of operating systems, kernels, and server hardware to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
n
Manage and automate configuration management tasks using
RedHat Satellite, Puppet, and Ansible
.
n
Support and maintain enterprise Linux technology solutions such as
Centrify, NTP
, and related services.
n
Conduct
day-to-day performance monitoring
, troubleshooting, and incident management for Linux servers.
n
Implement
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
solutions leveraging tools such as
Puppet
and
Ansible
.
n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams working on
virtualization
,
networking devices
,
storage
, and
Microsoft Azure environments
.
n
Ensure system compliance with enterprise security, operational, and performance standards.
n
Participate in on-call support rotation and handle system escalations as required.
n
Required Skills & Experience n
n
4–8 years of hands‐on experience in
Linux system administration
(preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
n
Deep expertise in
system and kernel performance tuning
.
n
Strong working knowledge of
RedHat Satellite
,
Puppet
, and
Ansible
for automation and configuration management.
n
Experience with
enterprise Linux environments
integrating solutions like
Centrify, NTP
, and similar technologies.
n
Practical understanding of
virtualization platforms
,
networking fundamentals
,
storage systems
, and
cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred)
.
n
Familiarity with
Infrastructure-as-Code
principles and tools.
n
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
n
Preferred Qualifications n
n
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
or equivalent certification.
n
Exposure to
DevOps
and
cloud automation
practices.
n
Experience working in
large-scale enterprise environments
with hybrid infrastructure.
n
n
