We're actively seeking an experienced
Training Superintendent
to support the continued growth of Northern Star Surface Mining (NSSM). Based at our
Subiaco Head Office with regular site travel
, this role will play a key part in developing, implementing and standardising training and competency frameworks across NSSM operations.
n
You will bring
strong operational experience within surface production mining and mobile maintenance
, combined with demonstrated training, assessment and workforce development expertise.
n
Here's what awaits you:

Develop fit‐for‐purpose training frameworks and plans for the dynamic and expanding NSSM business unit.
n
Develop, refine and implement training systems and processes in partnership with site teams.
n
Perform assurance audits to ensure Training Needs Analyses (TNA) remain fit for purpose and compliance requirements are maintained.
n
Support the standardisation of training and competency processes across NSSM projects.
n
Develop and refine training packages to deliver high‐quality, practical and cost‐effective training outcomes.
n
Support the development and rollout of training initiatives across the NSSM business unit.
n
Coach, mentor and build strong working relationships with corporate and site leadership teams.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:
n
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
n
Robust operational experience within
surface production mining and mobile maintenance environments
.
n
Demonstrated experience in training, assessing and
competency/proficiency
development.
n
Experience in the development and support of trainees and apprentices.
n
Strong working knowledge of INX Intuition.
n
Experience utilising simulators and other training technologies.
n
Knowledge of change management processes.
n
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training architecture.
n
n
