Part-Time Chef
to join our warm and welcoming team at a respected aged care facility in
Erina, NSW
.

Roster n
n
This is a full-time position working
40 hours per week
, with shifts scheduled from
Thursday to Monday
: n
n
Thursday & Friday:
6:00am to 2:30pm
n
Saturday to Monday:
9:30am to 6:00pm
n
n
Requirements n
n
A
current Police Check
, or willingness to obtain one
n
Skills and experience n
n
3+ years'experience in a similar role -
aged care experience highly regarded.
n
Cert III in commercial cookery desirable
n




Experience in large volume cooking as well as work autonomously and in group settings
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Collaborativeand team player
n
Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines.
n
Experienced in ordering, delivery and handling/control of stock.
n
Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients.
n
High level of QA, WH&S;, HACCP and Food Safety knowledge.
n
Must have reliable transport.
n
Key responsibilities n
n
Ability to produce high quality meals in line with aged care food service/HACCP guidelines, Quality
Assuranceprocedures
including low and high care residents.
n
Assisting in menu design, changes and implementation.
n
Assist with putting away of deliveries & general kitchen clean up duties.
n
Good all-rounder in kitchen i.e. scones, cakes, desserts, soups.
n
Responsible for preparation of special diets such as puree, gluten free and texture modified etc.
n
Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
n
Function within a busy kitchen whilst working harmoniously with the team.
n
