Job Description

Full time position for Asian chefs and cooks at Fusion Delights, preparing and cooking food across Asian, Thai, Malaysian, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines.
Key responsibilities n
n
Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
n
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
n
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
n
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
n
Preparing and cooking food
n
Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
n
May select and train staff
n
May freeze and preserve foods
n
About you n
n
Minimum 1 year experience as Chef or Cook
n
Cooking qualification - Certificate 3/4 cookery or equivalent
n
Functional English
n
Experience in Asian, Thai, Malaysian, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine preferred
n
Skills Assessment as Chef or Cook not mandatory
n
