We're working with a rapid-growing connected-device business building an advanced IoT hardware product with real system architecture and connectivity complexity. They need a Senior System Engineer to shape requirements across system, hardware, embedded, ATE, software and integration, contribute to design decisions in each discipline, and lead proof-of-concept and field testing.
What You'll Bring n
n
Experience in system engineering of multidisciplinary hardware products
n
Background working with communication products, embedded systems, hardware or RF
n
A natural problem-solver who works well both independently and in a team
n




Quick to get to grips with new, complex IoT concepts and weigh up alternative approaches
n
Comfortable operating on projects that demand real technical depth across disciplines
n
Also Valued n
n
Comfortable in a Linux environment
n
Experience with Atlassian tools and/or Azure DevOps
n
Curiosity about applying agentic AI to discovery and innovation work
n
Coding ability in C, C#, Java or Python
n
Familiarity with RF technologies such as BLE, WiFi, LTE-M or LoRa
n
Some backend or serverless systems knowledge
n
Exposure to cloud infrastructure for IoT products
n
