About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community settings across the Central Coast.
Key responsibilities include:
Personal care and supporting daily living activities
Community access, social support and transport
Medication assistance and documentation
Manual handling and mobility support
Promoting independence, choice and inclusion
Building positive relationships with participants and families




Completing progress notes and incident reporting
Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals
About You To be successful, you will have:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
Minimum 6 months' experience in SIL, disability support or community care
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for supporting people with disability
Reliability, professionalism and a person-centred approach
Availability across a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, nights and weekends
Essential Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Valid Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to transport participants
Up-to-date vaccinations and compliance documentation
Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
