We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Food Preparation Assistant to support our Food Production Kitchen in the preparation and manufacturing of high quality products ready for retail in our store.
n
ThisFull-Time role requires week day availability andis not suitable for junior applicants still at school/university.
n
n
Assembling and preparing ingredients, including knife skills, food packaging equipment, wrapping and labeling
n
To ensure that all food is labelled, weighted and dated correctly with stock rotated accordingly
n
Experience operating food manufacturing machinery is essential
n
Assisting with the day to day operations within a department setting, ensuring an efficient workflow is maintained
n
Keep a clean and organised workspace whilst adhering to our OHS and Food Safety guidelines
n
Complete required tasks in a timely and efficient manner and be able to work with minimal supervision
n




Assist the Department Manager with stock management, including but not limited to stock packaging, rotation, stocktaking, and inventory
n

Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous for success
n
Demonstrates integrity, honesty, teamwork and genuine concern for others
n
Work effectively with other departments to ensure our customers have access to the best of the best and keep coming back for more
n
Must be able to prioritise your day-to-day work, show initiative and enthusiasm
n
Have excellent problem solving skills and be able think outside the box
n
