We're now seeking an experienced and customer-focused, proactive Building Manager to join our team at one of our premium CBD/Southbank properties.
You'll be the trusted face of the building, balancing resident relationships, contractor management, maintenance coordination and operational oversight to ensure the property continues to perform at its best.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and operational performance of a residential community in Melbourne's CBD/Southbank precinct.
You will work closely with residents, contractors, Owners Corporation Managers and committees to ensure the building is presented to the highest standard, operates efficiently and delivers an exceptional living experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing daily building operations and resident enquiries




Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance programs
Conducting regular inspections of common areas, plant and building services
Monitoring essential services, lifts, HVAC, security, fire and life safety systems
Managing contractors, inductions, site access and performance standards
Supporting compliance requirements and maintenance reporting
Assisting with capital works, building improvement projects and sustainability initiatives
Monitoring access control, security systems and CCTV operations
Managing resident communications and building portal requests
Attending meetings and providing operational updates to key stakeholders
Supporting site teams and driving a positive building culture and community environment
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, building strong relationships and maintaining high standards across every aspect of a property.
You'll bring:
Previous experience in Building Management, Facilities Management, Property Management or a related role
Robust knowledge of residential building operations and proactive maintenance practices
Setting up/ working on an asset register is highly regarded
Experience coordinating contractors, service providers and trades
Outstanding customer service and stakeholder management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Comfortable using various computer programs and willingness to learn
Experience with access control, CCTV or security systems will be highly regarded
Leadership or team supervision experience will be viewed favourably
